Appreciation

Now that you’ve taken the time to think about the simple things in life, be thankful for them. Appreciate these wonderful things because without them our lives wouldn’t be as great as they are. These things cause all of your happiness…

“The longer you wait for something, the more you’ll appreciate it when you get it. Cause anything worth having, is definitely worth waiting.”

“Carpe diem! Rejoice while you are alive; enjoy the day; live life to the fullest; make the most of what you have. It is later than you thing.”

Simple Things

Ever heard the expression, ‘Stop and smell the roses’? This particular phrase has a couple meanings to me. It’s a single to slow down your life and enjoy the present as well as a sign to take a moment to appreciate the finer things in life. Today I want you to “Stop and smell the roses.” Think of the little things in your life that cause you the most happiness. After this recognition, bottle these memories in your mind and life will become much more enjoyable and alive….

“The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life’s plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.”  –Robert Louis Stevenson

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” –Albert Einstein

Life is Short

Life is too short...don't live with regrets and don't hold a grudge...make the most of every day and live it as if it is your last. Be yourself and do what you want. You never know what could happen tomorrow, a few hours from now or even a few minutes from now.

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That is why it's called the present."

"Don't wait. Make memories today. Celebrate your life!"

"Make everyday count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything you could possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before and actually listen...Let yourself fall in love again, break free, and set your sights high. Hold you head up because you have every right too. Tell yourself that you are a great individual and believe in yourself. For if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make your life anything you wish...Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely NO REGRETS."

"Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,

be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do,"

Where I am in life:

I’m not about to tell you my life's story in details because this site is intended to just impose some thought about your life: where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re going to go. I'm just going to give you a glimpse inside my head and my thought process on life at this moment. There are many quotes today and these have been my long drawn out thought process about my life from the last few weeks.

1) I’ve/You’ve  made mistakes:

“We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.”

Steve Maraboli

2)I/You can in a sense “fix” whatever has happened:

“One mistake does not have to rule a person's entire life.”

Joyce Meyer

3) At any time that we choose considering we’ve recognized a problem

“If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call ‘failure’ is no the falling down, but the staying down.”  --anonymous

4) We just have to think through the scenarios and consequences of different decisions:

"A winner is one who accepts his failures and mistakes, picks up the pieces, and continues striving to reach his goals. " ~Dexter Yager

5) And chose a plan of action:

“Whatever you do or dream you can do – begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.” -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.” –Meister Eckhart

And always remember:
Taking the first step toward a goal is often the hardest part.
“It’s hard to accept, but you can’t change the past. You can’t go back and manipulate things to the way you wanted them to happen. Because life’d be meaningless and boring and just not worth living. But you can change the future and that’s a beautiful thing about life. Yes, you will make mistakes. And yes, you will have bad days –but as longyou let the past go, you’ll have such a gorgeous and bright future ahead of you. Knowing that things were meant to happen. Knowing that each day you will learn something so that you keep growing to be a better person.”

Recently I have made quite a few mistakes, but I know that these are not merely mistakes but lessons learned in life that we can turn into experiences. I know what I have done wrong but know that I can ‘fix’ things and start over as long as I ponder my mistakes, fantasize different outcomes and  choose the best route of action in my life. This alone is living=making mistakes and learning from them…

Here we go:

In a nutshell....

"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about NOT knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next."

Quotes: A combination between what is your life and what you wish your future life to be.... The above quote is the one of a long list that I will be sharing with you. Take a moment and think of how and why each one belongs to your life...
