Where I am in life:

I’m not about to tell you my life's story in details because this site is intended to just impose some thought about your life: where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re going to go. I'm just going to give you a glimpse inside my head and my thought process on life at this moment. There are many quotes today and these have been my long drawn out thought process about my life from the last few weeks.

1) I’ve/You’ve  made mistakes:

“We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.”

Steve Maraboli

2)I/You can in a sense “fix” whatever has happened:

“One mistake does not have to rule a person's entire life.”

Joyce Meyer

3) At any time that we choose considering we’ve recognized a problem

“If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call ‘failure’ is no the falling down, but the staying down.”  --anonymous

4) We just have to think through the scenarios and consequences of different decisions:

"A winner is one who accepts his failures and mistakes, picks up the pieces, and continues striving to reach his goals. " ~Dexter Yager

5) And chose a plan of action:

“Whatever you do or dream you can do – begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.” -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Be willing to be a beginner every single morning.” –Meister Eckhart

And always remember:
Taking the first step toward a goal is often the hardest part.
“It’s hard to accept, but you can’t change the past. You can’t go back and manipulate things to the way you wanted them to happen. Because life’d be meaningless and boring and just not worth living. But you can change the future and that’s a beautiful thing about life. Yes, you will make mistakes. And yes, you will have bad days –but as longyou let the past go, you’ll have such a gorgeous and bright future ahead of you. Knowing that things were meant to happen. Knowing that each day you will learn something so that you keep growing to be a better person.”

Recently I have made quite a few mistakes, but I know that these are not merely mistakes but lessons learned in life that we can turn into experiences. I know what I have done wrong but know that I can ‘fix’ things and start over as long as I ponder my mistakes, fantasize different outcomes and  choose the best route of action in my life. This alone is living=making mistakes and learning from them…

  1. the biggest mistake I ever made was regretting the things I had done instead of making the most of the new opportunities with which I was presented. The Joyce Meyer quote was one that my dad had me really think about after I'd been thrown out of school, and it has stayed with me through the last 7 years. It's really nice to see someone else really catch hold of such a solid bit of advice :)
