Ever heard the expression, ‘Stop
and smell the roses’? This particular phrase has a couple meanings to me. It’s
a single to slow down your life and enjoy the present as well as a sign to take
a moment to appreciate the finer things in life. Today I want you to “Stop and
smell the roses.” Think of the little things in your life that cause you the
most happiness. After this recognition, bottle these memories in your mind and
life will become much more enjoyable and alive….
“The best things in life are
nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet,
duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at
the stars, but do life’s plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily
duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.” –Robert Louis Stevenson
“Life is not measured by the number
of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”
“There are only two ways to live
your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though
everything is a miracle.” –Albert Einstein
